Edifikasi atau Konfusi? Analisis Kritis terhadap Penggunaan Bahasa Lidah dalam Ibadah Jemaat Berdasarkan 1 Korintus 14:2-11

Penelitian ini menganalisis penggunaan bahasa lidah dalam ibadah jemaat berdasarkan perspektif teologis dari 1 Korintus 14:2-11. Fokus utama penelitian adalah menilai apakah penggunaan bahasa lidah membawa edifikasi atau justru menciptakan konfusi di antara jemaat. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis hermeneutik, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bahasa lidah hanya efektif untuk membangun iman jemaat jika disertai dengan penafsiran yang dapat dipahami oleh semua anggota gereja. Tanpa penafsiran, bahasa lidah lebih berpotensi membingungkan, terutama bagi mereka yang baru pertama kali hadir dalam ibadah, sehingga dapat mengganggu kesaksian gereja. Paulus menekankan pentingnya keteraturan dan edifikasi dalam ibadah, sehingga gereja modern perlu memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip ini dalam praktik beribadah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan panduan praktis dan pelatihan teologi bagi pemimpin gereja dan jemaat untuk menggunakan karunia bahasa lidah secara tepat dan bijaksana. Studi lanjutan diperlukan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan bahasa lidah di berbagai tradisi gereja kontemporer guna memperkaya pemahaman teologis tentang praktik ibadah yang alkitabiah.
